What A Year!

When 2013 started, I didn't have any plans set, I didn't know what I was doing or what I wanted to do. But some how things started  to change. Around February, when someone who I knew from high school, gave me the opportunity to start off my own business. I was really excited to start off work and create something that I always wanted. Slowly I started to be around people that were just like me and with a mind set of success. One of the best moments of early 2013, was the time someone came up to me and asked me who I was and what I did. I show him around and then he asked me if I could talk about my business to a full room of people. I didn't think about it twice and I said "yes' . Since that day, I figured that what I was doing, what's the right thing for me. Around the beginning of June, I got invited to a three day trip to Shelter Island. I was a little scare on going because I only knew one person that was going as well, but then I was like "What the heck". This trip changed my life, I met so many good people that I'm now proud of calling them my friends today. Summer came along and let me tell you, Best Summer ever. Partying every weekend, traveling to places like, Greenport, Washington DC, etc. Going to fun meetings and meeting even more people and getting even more amazing opportunities, just the best summer I ever had. September started and It was Fashion Week In New York, I got invited to so many events that I couldn't attend to all of them at once. I invited two of my great friends to come with me and we enjoyed it so much we are going back for another round this coming year. At school things weren't too bad either, I was the head for marketing in 2 organizations, official photographer for the school press, and more. I also got to walk for the first time in a breast cancer walk, attend to the Special Olympics.  2013 was amazing and I'm glad that all these things happen because now, 2014 is going to be even better. Better opportunities ahead of me and I only have one thing to do, but enjoy whatever comes a long. This year, I have no New Year's resolutions. If it's going to happen, it will and I can't wait to share it all with you.
