Little Italy | NYC

From NYC to China and now Italy!

I like mentioned in my previous post - Chinatown | NYC - New York City is like a mini version of the whole world. After discovering the neighborhood of Chinatown, it was time to go down the block and discover the neighboorhood of Little Italy.

I was really shocked to see how dramatically everything can changes in this city by just walking the block. I honestly felt like if I was like in a Narnia movie because I went from China to Italy in the blink of an eye.

When walking into this neighborhood, It wasn't too hard to notice the Italian heritage because the Italian flag was visible everywhere you looked. Another thing that wasn't too hard to notice was the beautiful flower decorations also visible everywhere in the neighborhood. They made the neighborhood feel fresh and welcoming.

I'm a big fan of Italian food and let me tell you, it was hard to try to fight my cravings of seeing so many food options. There are so many restaurants and bakeries all located next to each other. Not only was this a great opportunity to have a couple of my favorite Italian dishes, but also to try some new ones.

For this outfit look editorial, I got inspire by one main color that stood out the most while visiting this neighborhood, and that color is green. I got this green sweater from H&M and paired it with a pair of black skinny jeans. Yes, I wore jeans for once! To add that classic Italian style look, I decided to wear this light grey flat cap, and matching dress shoes.

A thing I felt in Chinatown and now in Little Italy, is the fact that I can't believe these places are located within New York City. While visiting them, I totally forgot I was in New York City and not in the actual country. I had a blast getting to feel different a little part of Italy and getting to learn a bit more about their culture and especially their food. That's all for today, hope everyone enjoys this look as much as we did create it and I'll see you all in my next post!
