Casual White

No white after Labor Day still a rule?

Does anyone even follow rules nowadays? I mean, we live in a world where many rules have to follow and put on enforcement, but there are also rules that slowly stop making sense, like being gay according to the "Bible", jail walking in Times Square and wearing white after Labor Day.

Though the first two rules can be debatable by many, I'll be focusing on the last one "wearing white after Labor Day". For me, the color white represents luxury especially when it comes to wearing it. Even though is fashion rule not to wear white after Labor Day we all need to take a step back and realized Labor Day is just a holiday in the U.S. The fashion industry is a worldwide empire made by fashion legacies around the world and when it comes to actual fashion rules this rule doesn't apply anywhere.

For this outfit look editorial, I decided to wear my favorite pair of white pants and style them for a luxurious winter outfit look. Turtleneck sweaters and shirts are a big to-go-to item when it comes to the winter season. For this look, I wore a brown turtleneck sweater to contrast the white color of the pants and create a color-cut on this outfit look. To add a deeper luxury style to this look, I wore my big white fedora hat I like to wear during this time of the year as well. Since I actually wore this outfit look throughout the day, I wore my white converse to match the pants and to keep me comfy all day.

I can say I'll be wearing white color pants a bit more often no matter the time of the year or season because white is not only casual for summer but also winter. That's all for today, I hope everyone enjoys this outfit look and I'll be seeing you all in my next post!
