Follow The Recipe Ep.1

I've been a fan of cooking for a while now, and even though I would consider myself to be a good cook. I decided to expand my knowledge and cook creativity by trying out a few recipes. Welcome everyone to my new segment, Follow The Recipe!

For this first episode, I have decided to try to make a quiche. I've made a quiche before with the help of a professional chef, but this time I was solo. I did some search on the internet for the simplest quiche recipe and I came across this one. Did I manage to do a good job? Watch the video to find out.

1 Refrigerated pie crust
6 Large eggs
3/4 Cup milk or cream
3/4 Tsp salt
1/4 Tsp black pepper
1 Cup cooked ham (Chopped)
1 1/2 Cups shredded cheese
3 Tbsp green onions

Personal Extras:
3 Tbsp red peppers

1. Preheat over to 375 degrees F.
2. Unroll pie crust and press into a 9" pie plate.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and pepper.
4. Sprinkle ham, 1 cup of cheese, green onions, and red peppers into the pie crust. Pour the egg mixture over top. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese.
5. Bake for 35-40 minutes until center is completely set. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing and serving.
