Month Favorites #7

January, February, March, April, May & June 2021

We are back with another favorites video! It's been so long since I last did one of these but never too late for a new one. I've been trying out a lot of new products and items in the last 6-months and here are my top 5 favorite ones.

1. The Ordinary Peeling Solution - For many years, I've used a physical scrub as a daily exfloliator. Till recently, I decided to change and update my daily skin routine. Getting rid of my old physical scrub and changed to this chemical peel which I've been loving. I use it once or twice a week and helps exfoliate my skin enough to take away all the dead skin laying on my skin leaving it soft and radiant. The best part is, this product is so affordable and though it can be rough for those with sensitive skin - which I recommend trying on a small area first - it really does the job.

2. Milani Make It Last Sunscreen - Ever since I found out about setting sprays, I've been obsessed with them. Recently when I hear about this one, I was really curious about trying it out especially because the weather was getting warmer and the SPF remarks really sold me in. After picking it up at Ultra and trying it on for a few days, I'm definitely will be purchasing it again. Not only does my makeup last longer than usual, but the price of this product is also reasonable and it protects my skin from the sun, no surprise is on my favorite list.

3. Maybelline Fit Me Foundation - This is going to sound crazy, but this foundation was actually the first foundation I have ever worn. Though I hated it back then, recently I decided to give it another try and the world has flip because it is now one of my favorites. Not sure if they changed the formula or something in the last few years but this foundation really has been making my skin look like skin. No cakiness, blends in beautifully and for me personally last on the whole day.

4. H&M Black Small Bag - While shopping around in Soho, NYC I found this small little baggy for only $5 dollars. And it has changed my life in many ways! Forget about carrying things on your packet or carrying a big unnecessary bag when these little bags are the most practical things ever. I've been taking this bag with me almost everywhere and the best part about it is the front open packet because it stores my mask which makes it so easy to access when needed.

5. Aldo Black Bag - For a while now, I've been looking around to replace my everyday work bag. Though there was nothing wrong with my previous one. In fact, I was too in love with it that I wanted to preserve it since it is from a high-end brand and has a sentimental value to me. But lucky for me, I found this black leather bag from Aldo and I've been loving the new update. Is crazy to think of the price I pay for it compare to the quality of it. One of the best features of this bag is the carry-on strap it has on the back. Which has been so helpful when it comes to traveling. Now I have put away my previous luxurious work bag and have a bag I love and trust even when traveling.
