Can't believe it's been over two years since I last attended New York Fashion Week. Never in my life have I ever thought of taking a break from what I once thought to be the highlight of my career. But after a long pandemic, I can now enjoy and appreciate New York Fashion Week differently.

I will never forget the first time I officially attended New York Fashion Week back in 2014. My schedule was filled with shows, I wore many outfits and my social life was at its peak. I was so hyped with everything that I forgot the point of attending fashion week and most importantly, about my well-being. Season after season I keep telling myself I will prepare better, but honestly, no matter the amount of planning you do last-minute things will always happen. 

Keeping all that in mind, I decided it was time for me to come back and do New York Fashion Week once again. This time instead of going to every show I get invited to, I only attend the ones I think are the most interesting for my viewers, myself and of course, go according to my schedule because I'm not overbooking myself like I used to. Sometimes I wish to multiply myself and go to all the shows but doing sixteen hours for an entire week isn't as easy as it sounds. 

I may sound like I'm complaining a lot, but New York Fashion Week isn't as important for my career as I used to think. Yes, I love attending the shows, seeing the collections in person, and socializing with others in the industry but there are so many new ways to do work now that you don't even need to attend because the majority of my work is done online - I'm a social influencer after all. 

For this New York Fashion Week, I wanted to do something different with my look. Maybe not that crazy but something different from what I had before. Days before I came back to New York City, I got a haircut and colored my hair. The last time I did something like this was back in 2017 and I really enjoy the look and wanted to bring it back. For this editorial and the second day of New York Fashion Week, I wore this Micheal Kors button shirt and Micheal Kors light beige shorts for a sophisticated look because I like to start off the season looking sharp and make it comfy throughout the rest of the week. 

I'm very happy to be back and continue doing New York Fashion Week. So far I've been having a blast and have been enjoying the shows, the people, and most importantly my job.
