The Terrace

The Eugene's Rooftop

There's nothing that makes me happier than seeing New York City's skyline. And in the last couple of months, I have had the honor to call The Eugene's Rooftop Terrance my favorite location to relax, entertain and enjoy speechless views.

I remember like it was yesterday when I walked out of the elevator and walked into the most amazing view I have ever seen. Before The Eugene, I used to enjoy viewing the city's skyline from different locations like the Standard Hotel - High Line, 230 Fifth Rooftop Lounge and almost all rooftops locations available around the city. But after finding The Eugene's Rooftop Terrance, it became my favorite one in an instant.

Besides having amazing views, this terrace itself is a piece of art. There's so much to do on this terrace, sometimes I forget is sixty-four floors above ground. No need to go to a park because this terrace has a lovely grass like area, where you can lay down and enjoy the sun or grab a cute round cushion for a more comfortable seating. Along the southern part of the terrace, they have long beach chairs for those who want to lay or sit while staring at an amazing view of downtown Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Downtown Jersey.

I have never in my life seen this before, but on the northern part of the terrace, they have grills available for BBQ's. Yes, you can be grilling and enjoy a beer or two sixty-four floors high above the ground in the city of Manhattan. Talking about beers, during special events, they have a bar area as well located on the eastern part of the terrace. But during normal days, this bar area makes a great office area thanks to the high counter tops.

Even though this Terrace is only available for residents of The Eugene, I will be enjoying this rooftop as much as possible while living at this location. For this outfit look editorial, I decided to wear this navy blue shirt from Zara, paired with a summer must, white pants. Matched with navy blue dress shoes and my current favorite blue aviator sunglasses from Dot Shades.  That's all for today, and I'll be seeing you all in my next post!
