Mongol 2015 | MBFW-NY

Down The Runway Review NYFW 2015

Hello everyone! My season of New York Fashion Week 2015 started off with Mongol by Bayarmaa Bayarkhuu. Before I attended this show, I did a little research about the designer to get myself familiar with the designer's previous work and to kind of guess what I was going to be expecting when I see the collection.

Little did I know, the collection was colorful and fun, beyond my expectations. I've been to many shows and usually when it comes to many international designers, they usually show their cultural roots through their designs, not that there's anything wrong with that, but sometimes isn't too interesting because it has been done many times before, but what Bayarmaa brought to this season of New York Fashion Week came with a twist of modern and edgy style. Totally different from what I was expecting and I like it.

Love the shapes of some the clothes, they are amazing and very futuristic, which gives the collection an edgy look something I don't see in many collections. And not to mention, the colors of the collection are bright and playful. Seems like this coming up winter will be all about pastel colors and I also see a lot of fur making its way back and I can't wait till fall. That's all for today and I'll see you all in my next post.
