Kansas City, MO

First time in the mid-west!

A few weeks ago, I got the chance to visit Kansas City for the first time. Not only was I surprised by how beautiful the city is, but also by how modern it actually is compared to what I expected the mid-west to be. Here's my first-time experience in Kansas City, MO.

In almost all my recent trips, I have noticed I've been doing something I normally don't feel comfortable with and that is to go with the flow. Usually, when I plan trips, I'm one of those people that likes to plan every second of it. But lately, I've been getting really good at going with the flow and just try to do as much as possible accordingly. Lucky for me this was very helpful due to the changes made during this time of the year where not many places are available.

When I first arrived in Kansas City, I was quite surprised to see how it was. To be honest, I didn't really expect much from it but I got more than what I thought. Its low key reminded me of a mini version of Los Angeles or any other widespread city. Of course, I can't compare it to New York City, but there were some parts that made me feel like it I was in Brooklyn. Buildings had modern but yet historical vibes, a lot of young adults with a good fashion sense, and of course, a lot of delicious food.

Here are a few photos taken during my trip to Downtown Kansas City, MO. I was really happy with the amount of nature within the city which really helped my tropical outfit fit right in. I wish to have been able to stay a little longer, but it was just the right amount of time because it has made me want to go back again soon. That's all for today, hope everyone enjoyed this post and I'll see you all in my next post!
