Burgundy Flows | NYFW

Adopting summer trends for winter!

When I started working on my outfit looks for the new season of New York Fashion Week, trying to stay warm and stylist were key points. Which meant, I needed to find warm, comfortable and fashionable jackets and coats to wear! Here's my second, New York Fashion Week outfit look editorial.

When I first saw this trend coat from far a way in a Zara store, I was really happy to have finally found one at last minute because they really run really quickly, specially in my size (I'm size Small). While looking around my closet trying to figured out what to pair this coat with, I decided to go with this new burgundy sweater I got for Christmas. I've been wanting to wear this sweater since then because I feel like not many people wear burgundy much, and I thought fashion week was a great occasion to do so.

Looking for a pair of pants to match the sweater was a bit hard because I wanted to wear something I don't normally wear in the daily basics. I wanted a pop of color or something that matched really well with the sweater and give it that fancy look to this outfit. While scrolling through my pants rack, I found these burgundy pants, that matched perfectly with the sweater. After trying both on, it reminded me of last summer's head-to-toe same print or color trend, which I'm still in love with. To add more of this trend, I decided to wear my favorite loafers of all time and also my first loafers I have ever own with it. Even though they're actually brown, when I wore them with this outfit look, they look burgundy.

After expending almost all day with this outfit look, I was really happy with this outfit choice. I was feeling stylist, fancy and most importantly, warm! That's all for today, hope everyone loves this look as much as I did wearing it, and I'll see you all in my next post!
