Summer Meets Fall

NYFW S/S 2020: Day 2

After surviving the first day of New York fashion week, the second day and forward is all about keeping everything together and to try not to get too overloaded with work. From runways shows to a fancy brunch, here my second-day outfit look and second-day recap of New York Fashion Week!

For my second day of New York Fashion Week, I decided to invite one of my fashionable friends to join me to come to my first show of the day. Not only it was her first runway show she ever attended, but it was also her first time being surrounded by so much fashion and talent. This also reminded me of how thankful I am for the opportunities my career has given me and how lucky I am to be able to share it with those who empower and inspire me every day.

A few hours later, we decided to take a break to work on my coverage content. Surprisingly the music at the location we were working from was hyping me up and work was done a lot faster. Like I mentioned in my previous post - Rainy Shadows - this season of fashion week has been the most productive one of all the previous seasons I’ve done. Since we were located in the Tribeca area, we decided it was time to have a late brunch. If you know my friends and me, you would know we love to have brunch. We saw this cute spot not too far from Spring Studios, was the perfect option before heading back home and change into my evening outfit look.

For second-day outfit look, I tried out something different. I have had this brown blazer since early this year and even though I wore it only once months ago, I saved it in my closet especially for this fashion week season. At first, I wanted to style this blazer with black pants, but after realizing I was already wearing pants with a different outfit look I switch it to black shorts. Getting summer vibes, I embraced my favorite summer accessory, the bandana. Bandanas have become my to-go-to accessory when it comes to the summer season. Not only they make any outfit look feel more refreshing, but also fashionable in away. Like I mentioned earlier, the weather has been all over the place so I decided to wear no shirt or undershirt for this look. Matching the blazer, I wore these new light brown loafers that almost killed my feet. Well, I blame myself mostly for not wearing socks, but fashion can be painful sometimes and I can’t complain.

As fashion week continues, so is the craziness of it. But till the end, thank you for catching up with our fashion week coverage. That’s all for today and I’ll you all on my next post.
